Salute My Job

Here at Masterfix we understand the value people with a services background bring to our fast-paced and dynamic business. A cool head under pressure is an invaluable asset, as is quickly adapting to any issue that might arise even in an unfamiliar environment. The standout quality we find ex-forces personnel bring to our business is an uncompromising dedication to high standards.

I chatted to one of our triple-trade mechanical engineers Nick about his background as an aircraft engineer with HMS Seahawk, based at RNAS Culdrose. He served many tours overseas in the Far and Middle East covering all maintenance aspects of Merlin helicopters from depth, repairs and preventative servicing, marshalling and everything in-between. Out there, your work is life and death and the people around you become your family out at sea. Doing a good job means people getting back safe and sound. While working with Masterfix is a world apart from the military in many ways, what we do offer is a supportive, structured working environment where hard work gets rewarded and our engineers can feel invested in us and vice versa.

We have many opportunities available that would suit the skills developed in the armed forces. Our reactive and planned maintenance divisions are currently looking for electricians and multi-traders who do a great job first time, every time.
